Tree Planting Guide
Volunteers are always needed every year for our tree order packaging day. If you would like to try your hand at wrapping tree seedlings at our next tree sale, usually held on the second Thursday in April, contact the Lenawee Conservation District office: (517) 263-7400 Ext. 5 and we will contact you for assistance at future tree sales.
Lenawee Conservation District has a Tree Planter and a Truax drill available for rent. The rental contracts below can be printed, filled out and submitted. But you must contact the Lenawee Conservation District office to check on dates of availability as well. The tree planter rental rate is $50 per day, with a $100 deposit. The Truax drill is available in two sizes: 5-ft. and 8-ft. The rental rate varies and is stated on the contract form. IMPORTANT: Be sure to review and print out both pages of the Drill Rental Agreement and the Drill Operation Check List page below as well!
