Events Coming Up...

The Lenawee Conservation District will provide up to five FREE soil test kits to producers of any size farm who are willing to sit down and learn more about the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program.

In addition, farmers whose fields are in the South Branch of the River Raisin may be eligible for 10 additional free test kits through a partnership the Lenawee Conservation District has with Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) for "Pay-for Performance".

Lenawee Conservation District at the 2017 Lenawee County Fair

Come see us at our booth in the Ag Merchant's Building during the 2017 Lenawee County Fair July 23rd through 29th in Adrian, Michigan.  The fairgrounds are located on Dean Street in Adrian.

Center for Excellence Field Day - Save the Date!

August 9th, 2017

The event will begin with registration open at 7:30 am at Bakerlads Farm, 10960 Cadmus Road in Clayton, Michigan.  The morning holds 4 concurring tent sessions as well as two different trailer rides for attendees to choose from, with the program then moving to Raymond & Stutzman Farms, 8055 Seneca Highway in Morenci, Michigan for lunch, and the afternoon program of concurring equipment demonstrations..  Deadline to RSVP is August 4th, 2017. 2017 Fields to the Great Lakes Events

Several MAEAP (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program) Water Quality Tall Ship Sail Workshops and Western Lake Erie Basin MAEAP & Conservation Practices Day Conferences will be held during the month of August 2017 and part of September.  Reservations are required.
